The Yamaha Alto Venova is a fun, lightweight and durable wind instrument, ideal for the travelling musician or players who want something fun to play at home or on the go.
A lot of attention has gone into creating this instrument, from the odd looking "branched pipe" (integral to the tone according to Yamaha) through to a system which allows the Venova to operate either using German system recorder fingering or standard Boehm. It has a full two-octave range and maintains its tone well even on the top notes.The sound of these horns is far more impressive than we'd anticipated - big and cleaner responding than the vast majority of instruments of this sort.Key work is nice and smooth throughout and, all in all, it's enormous fun to play. Complete with a mouthpiece, reed, hard shell case, manual and neck strap
